  • and other guest speakers

The judges of the Inventors Showcase are involved in product design and development and part of Denver’s innovative community.

Our judges include Mark Hanchak (Owner of Link Product Development), Patrick Monahan (Partner at Elevation Design and President of IDSA), Grady Barfoot (Industrial Designer at Otter Box), Ted Shin (Chair of Industrial Design for Metro State University), Geoff Quinter (Lead industrial Designer at BSI Designs), Schuyler Livingston (Industrial designer at Link Product Development), Dustin Monroe (Design Manager at Broomfield Enclosures), Nick Kielsmeier (Industrial Designer at Magpul), Shane Korthius (Founder of Korcraft), and many more. All judges will be listed on the website 2 weeks before the event.

Each judge will take at least 10-15 minutes reviewing your invention, talking with you about your invention and will share valuable next steps.  Judges will give feedback on best industry practice, crowdfunding, manufacturing advice, marketing suggestions, and help guide you on your path to a fully realized product.

In addition to the numerous judges that will be at the event, we have the support of the Office of Economic Development and Solderworks as sponsors of the Inventor Showcase area. Since this area will be open to the public you will have a chance to show your product to thousands of attendees and get lots of valuable feedback from potential users.

In addition to all that is listed above, there will be cash prizes for the winners of the Inventors Showcase:

  • $500 – First Place
